Strengthening RREA Programing Through Enhanced Connections: A Web-based Conference Series

RREA funding, while small, is an integral component of renewable resource Extension programing within the land-grant institutions.  Many renewable resource Extension professionals have developed highly innovative and effective programs to address RREA strategic issues with these limited funds.  However, these successes are not generally known outside of their respective land-grant universities.  Until now few opportunities have existed for these connections to be made.  This web-based conference series (i.e. webinars) will provide:

  • opportunities for Extension professionals to strengthen and/or create new networks of colleagues
  • develop regional and national collaborations addressing RREA strategic issues, and
  • learn innovative approaches for stakeholder education and outreach.

The purpose of the series is to increase capacity among renewable resource Extension professionals that will result from the cross-pollination of ideas, approaches, technology use, and methodologies and that will lead to more informed, better served stakeholders and a stronger RREA program.
